ThisUser Agreement outlines our policies and expectations regarding cancellationsby therapists and the Three Strike Rule that applies to them. By joining ourplatform, you agree to adhere to these guidelines to maintain the highstandards we strive for.

Therapist Cancellation Policy and Three Strike Rule

 

General Cancellation Guidelines for Therapists

1. Notice Requirement: Therapists must follow theproper notice policy below for cancelling a scheduled session, except in casesof emergency.

2. Emergency Cancellations: Emergencies must beverified with appropriate documentation (e.g., a doctor's note). Immediatenotification to both the client and platform is required.

3. Communication: All cancellations should becommunicated through the platform to ensure documentation and proper handling.

Three Strike Rule

Strike 1: Written Warning

- Incident: The first cancellation without proper notice orvalid emergency.

- Penalty: The therapist receives a written warning and willbe fined 10% of the session fee.

- Record: This warning is recorded in the therapist'sprofile internally. This shall not be shown to prospective clients.

Strike 2: Suspension

- Incident: A second unauthorized cancellation within a12-month period.

- Penalty: The therapist is suspended from the platform fora period of two weeks and will be fined 25% of the session fee.  

- Record: Details of the incident and suspension are addedto the therapist's profile internally. This shall not be shown to prospectiveclients.

 

Strike 3: Termination of Services

- Incident: A third cancellation without appropriate noticeor justification within the same 12-month period.

- Penalty: The therapist's access to the platform is suspendedfor 1 month and will be fined 50% of the session fee.

- Record: A comprehensive review of all incidents andactions is documented and maintained.

 

Penalties for Cancellations and No-Shows

Financial Penalties: Therapists will incur a penaltyfee for each cancellation or no-show, which will be a specific percentage oftheir session fee. This fee increases with each strike:

- First Strike: 10%of the session fee.

- Second Strike:25% of the session fee.

 - Third Strike: 50%of the session fee.

Additional Provisions

1. Make-Up Sessions: Therapists are encouraged to offer amake-up session to the client at no additional cost, scheduled at theconvenience of the client.

2. Client Feedback: The platform will solicit and reviewclient feedback specifically regarding cancellations to monitor therapistreliability.

3. Professional Support: The platform provides resources andsupport to help therapists manage their schedules effectively and preventcancellations.

Proper Notice Policy

The cancellation policy chosen by therapists for theirclients will also apply to their own cancellations:

1. Strict Cancellation Policy: Therapists must followthe same rules - if they cancel within 48 hours of a session, they will receivea strike and fine as per the policy above.

2. Moderate Cancellation Policy: Any cancellationsmade by the therapist within 24 hours of a session will result in a strike anda fine as per the policy above.

3. Flexible Cancellation Policy: Any cancellationsmade by the therapist within 12 hours of the session will result in a strikeand a fine as per the policy above.

4. Super Relaxed Cancellation Policy: Anycancellations made by the therapist within 2 hours of the session will resultin a strike and a fine as per the policy above.

 

Emergency Cancellations 

If an unavoidable emergency is the reason for thecancellation, the therapist must notify us immediately. During the process ofcancelling the session, there will be an option to indicate an emergency.Documentation that shows the legitimacy of the emergency must be provided. Ouradmin team will review the case and either accept or decline the validity ofthe instance. If accepted, the therapist will not face a fine and/or a strike.If declined, the therapist will face a fine and/or a strike.

 

Subscription Terms and Benefits


As a therapist using CuraMind, you are required to maintain an activesubscription plan to access our platform and services. CuraMind subscriptionsoffer the following benefits tailored to your chosen plan:

    • Unlimited Matches: Access an unlimited pool of potential client matches to expand your client base.
    •  
    • Insurance Discount: Enjoy 10% off business insurance through CuraCover (coming soon).

    • Flexible Cancellation: Cancel monthly subscriptions with 30 days’ notice.
  1. Premium Plan (£69.99 per month)
       
    • Platform Fee: 5% of session fees, deducted only after a client payment.
    •  
    • Guaranteed Referrals: Receive a minimum of 6 guaranteed referrals per month, charged at a fee of your choosing.
    •  
    • Unlimited Matches: Access an unlimited pool of potential client matches to maximise your exposure.
    •  
    • Insurance Discount: Enjoy 10% off business insurance through CuraCover (coming soon).
    •  
    • Flexible Cancellation: Cancel monthly subscriptions with 30 days’ notice.

Downgrade Policy


If you choose to downgrade your subscription:

  1. Existing Clients: All existing clients will retain the platform fee percentage applicable to the subscription plan under which they were acquired (e.g., 5%, 8%, or 30%).
  1. New Clients: Any new clients acquired after downgrading will be charged at the platform fee percentage of the downgraded plan (30% for Free, 8% for     Standard, or 5% for Premium).

 

Payment and Billing

  1. Subscription fees will be billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan, and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our cancellation policy.
  1. Payments must be made via the approved methods listed on the CuraMind platform. Failure to maintain an active subscription will result in suspension or termination of your account access.

 

Cancellation Policy


You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. However, cancellation will result in the loss of all platform access and benefits, including client matches and premium insurance coverage, at the end of your billing cycle.

 

Changes to Subscription Plans


CuraMind reserves the right to adjust subscription fees, terms, or features at any time with a minimum of 30 days’ notice to all users. Any such changes will be communicated via email and in-app notifications.

By accepting this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the policies and procedures outlined above. We value your commitment to maintaining a professional and reliable environment for all users of CuraMind.
